Problem with my 97 Wrangler

Just recently my 97 Wrangler has been acting up on me. Everything is fine with it until the Jeep warms up. After it is warm it begins to sputter and cut out on me randomly and then it goes back to normal. Also at idle the oil pressure gauge drops. It will drop anywhere from 20 all the way to 0 and the check gauges light will come on, then the pressure will shoot back up. I wanted to check with you guys on here first before I brought it in, I have no idea where to start and look for the problem. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Engine? Transmission? Miles?
Try to get the codes from the computer. You may (I"m not sure) be able to turn the key on-off-on-off-on in 5 seconds, and it will flash the codes to you.
If you have the 4.0, I'd think that the crankshaft position sensor might be involved.
