I'm scared, help me!!

Hello, ok heres the problem, I'm 16 with a permit, and I do drive to school and work, because my parents work... well anywayz, last night as I was coming back from work, at a stop light, my best friends sister, shes 18 blonde, pretty good looking, she stopped by me and I rolled down my window to say HI she said HI and I didn't even SEE the green light because I was looking at her and than she took off smoking the tires, I was like WTF? So I took off after her, I didn't floor it or anything I was behind her than I passed her and got in front of her, this happened for like 10 secs than a cop was right behind her, lights on and pulled her over, I was like WTF my first reacton was SHIIITTT!! I flored it and he pulled her over and I got home safely, I didn't think much of it, UNTILL I found out today that the BITCH did not get pulled over for speeding, she told him than it wasn't her, she didn't screetch the tires at the green and that it was me, IT WAS NOT ME! Than he asked her if she knew me, she said NO, than he like said "WHATEVER" than she told him my FULL NAME AND ADRESS! holy shit, no insurence, no LICENCE, and than he also told her that I was doing past 55, she didn't get pulled over for speeding since she was going like 55... she got a ticket and shes going to court, I don't know what to do!?!?!?! somebody help me...

I'm scared to drive now, even though I drove close to 2,000 miles around the town since I got my permit 2 months ago.

all i gotta say is THAT BITCH~! if she was hot. then the only way for me to forgive her is the bang the shit out of her. if not, then oh wellz, i'll go psycho on her ass. i mean i must consider myself lucky for sliding into intersections doin a semi drift, peeling out in front of my house everyday, and doin 80-90 in a 20mph zone. hehe

Yeah your lucky, today while driving I was scared to go 3-4mph over speed limit, last night it hit me, I never realized before that my car is everything, not the car, but DRIVING, I remember before I got it i was always begging my parents to drive me and it sucked, now since i got it i been out all the time and shit... It can't be taken away, i waited since i was 13 for the day when i start driving...


I'm just scared the police is gonna come to my house, wait for me follow me around than pull me over...

You panick when the cops come around and you floor it. Thats sort of typical for an inexperienced driver. If the cops were pulling her over you should of kept your cool and stayed within the speed limit.

I don't know what to tell you I got mixed feelings about this. Yeah she really is a bitch for doing that what the fuck is that. What was she driving anyways? If you get in trouble just play it like "riight, smoking the tires, in an intrepid :rolleyes:." Damn blondes always messing everything up. You should cuss her out for that.

But then again. What the fuck are you thinking. You don't have your license and your out driving by yourself. Whats wrong with you, you can't wait another year to get your license and drive legally? Take the bus to school. You're lucky you haven't wrecked the car yet you would of been fucked, just like you are now.

big point, if you dont even really know how to drive well yet (floring it when a cop turns on his lights, come on now, you cant run from the cops when they are on your tail, your not brian o'spealman in fast and furrious) and you dont have insurance, why the hell are you driving?

but the cops cant do anything, its hearsay, you could say "hu? I wasnt driving, who said that?" and becuase the cop dosent have your plates, he dosent have you. If he had it on camera and got your plates on it too, then you'd be fucked, but otherwise how does the officer know she didnt just say someones addy who has a car of that make to get out of the ticket?

yep, terminal velocity is right, all you gotta do is deny you were even there, its her word against your's. And as you shouldnt even be driving and you can get someone to give you an alibi then they should believe you over her. Just gotta hope the cop didnt see you, and the court think that she was just trying to find a scape goat (which is probably likely).

Police crusers are 15 sec cars, not screaming but they still can catch up, when you hit 100, soon after they do too, and you max out sometime

My suggestion would be to stop driving around until you get a licence because if the cops catch you driving with just a permit they maight impound your car and make it so that you can't get you licence until 18 or older.

First of all, is this your car, and even if it is, why the hell would your parents let you drive it without a license or insurance?
Second, you're an idiot for driving at all without a license or insurance!
You must not be a very good driver because aren't you the same kid who had the problem before with the guys in the pick-up going after you?
And, that means, when you do, and i stress the word DO, have an accident, you'll be pretty screwed. You'll lose your car, plus you'll have to replace the other car(s) you fucked up, and not to mention when the people try to sue you, for whip-lash, etc.......and since you have no license or insurance, you're gonna be liable for everything. Why do you think people have $1 million + liability insurance as part of their coverage........because people sue for anything and everything these days.
If you really love driving as much as you say you do, then just wait until you get your license. I know it's painful, but if you screw it up now, the wait will be 10 times as long, and painful.......

its mostly drunk drivers and crims getting chased by cops that kill poeple on the road, i hate arrogant, stubborn people like you that stereotype young adults because of how we dress or what cars we drive or cause were with a group of people, automaticly asuming we are putting lives at danger or causing trouble.

I don't think we even have helicopters here, but I still wouldn't reccomend running from the cops in anything, your not going to get away even if you do they have your plate # and your going to be in bigger trouble than you would have been. :smoka:

Well Mighty I guess you weren't expecting a response like this. I don't think there is anything else to say, maybe you learned not to be out on the street anymore without a license. Then again maybe you still are driving, whatever its your life. I wouldn't come here asking for mods to do on a car though I sure as hell am not telling you anything. I didnt classify every young driver as irresponsible, however now days there seems to be an amundance of them in your age category. Sure drunk drivers are always killing people, I never said that. The fact of the matter is younger kids involved in fatality crashes is climbing at a startling rate.

Get a grip of yourself, I dont even know what this kid wears, who he hangs out with, or what he drives, I don't care. I judge him by the reactions he makes to a situation. Everytime any of you race inside city limits you are putting people in danger.

Most of you kids get behind the wheel and you feel as if you are Mario Andretti, the reality is most of you couldn't get yourself out of a 50mph spin. Your driving is always aggresive and impatient. Your lack of experience puts you in situations forcing other people to react to not get in a crash. Go ahead and say this isn't true, but anybody that comes to this board who has sense on their shoulders will see what I am saying.


Enough said on that topic, let me generalize the topic of this post. This kid doesn't have his license, he doesn't have insurance, he is racing in the city, he floors it when he sees a cop flashing his lights, did I miss anything?

I did not stop driving since the incident, I'm just little more careful. Over 2,000 city miles since I started driving, I don't know if I'm lucky but in the last 2 motnhs I been going numerous times 100mph+ few times hitting 115 mph... I always race with people on lights even though I always lose I cannot stop driving... I'm just little more carful now and I don't feel like driving like an IDIOT anymore, it got old, its not worth it, when I got my permit I was out driving ALLLL DAYYYYY just driving, I loved it, not anymore thought, now I just drive places, not around... The girl did not get a ticket, but its going to court for squeeling the tires, at court she will say it was me and that she should not get a ticket... I don't know if I will get a letter to appear at a court but I hope not... even if I do... they aint got shit on me, I'm gonna ask "HOW CAN I DRIVE WITH A PERMIT???? IT WASN'T ME, SHE JUST HATES ME FOR SOME REASON" I got 4 more months to go and I will have around 3,000 miles on my car till than... Just gotta be more careful and nothing will happen unless its someone elses fault, and even if it is I'm guilty... but thats the risk I'm willing to take.... I'd rather take that risk than beg my parents to drive me places....

I don't think the law will bother you, but you have learned a valuable lesson. There is no proof you were even driving the car. So relax and quit driving till you get insurance.

In all brushes with the law, I have found that the simple truth beats any concocted story that you can come up with. They sense when you are lying and then try to make your life miserable.
When I was your age, I had a wild, highly polished, customized 55 Ford with mellow pipes, triple-riple lakes pipes, etc and got pulled over often by this one cop who hated my car. I was never doing anything wrong- just driving by- not even making noise. He would walk around my car looking for infractions. One day he said ," Rev it up." I refused. He said, "I can rev it up." I said, "No you can't- I don't want you to even touch my car!" He didn't know what to do. I guess no one ever said that to him.
Why? I think he had kids, a bad job , nothing else to do or just had it out for us kids. My car was wicked nice and his was probably a regular car.
Finally, I sat in the front seat of his cruiser and politely made him feel ashamed of himself. I threatened to tell his boss that he was infringing on my rights as a US citizen. I told him that I didn't think he was very nice. To this day, I can see the look on his face cause I stood up for my rights. He never bothered me again.

It'll be alot worse if you don't have insurance, trust me. Your parents will be held responsible for what you do since your under age and don't have any insurance. It's one thing to screw yourself but think about the fact that your parents could lose their house cars and all their money.

I sometimes drive a little fast and stupid but keep it on the highway. No reason to be doing 90 on regular streets. People's excuses are "I was late" and shit like that, well now your really going to be late when you hit little johnny riding his bike to his friends house.

So save the speed for the highway, get some insurance, and study for that license test..just my 2 cents..

I was in a head on, he threatened to sue for whiplash etc, well my insurance laughed and told him to go ahead, they would pay for the lawers and experts and have me countersew for the insult and told his insurance, and the would drop him if he sued. If I didnt have insurance would have been screwed, majorly, eventhough it wasnt my fault. If you run over someone, and they live, its horrable but you will come out much much better if you have insurance, if not you go to jail, your parents pay money for the rest of their lives, and you dont drive for years and years.

Im not the one to take sides in this matter, but I agree with R-1 racer...if you dont have a liscence to drive...then you should'nt be driving. The possibility of being caught or getting into an accident is fairly high...especially nowadays.

You my friend are the reason why Where I live you can't get your permit till your 16, then you have to wait a full year from the day your get your permit, even if you get it when your 20 to do your road test, then when you get your license you have to wait a full year before you can drive after midnight.

What the hell are you thinking? you can't drive and your out alone without license or insurance. And don't try and tell me you are a good driver because your not. 2000 miles? big whoop dee fricken doo. It's takes a minimum of a year to two years of driving every single day to even start to develope the instincts and reflexs required to be a safe driver. I don't care how good or safe you think your are, cause your not. Nothing teaches those skills and reflexs, they come from experience and time only.

My cousin and I were in an accident last year where we got struck by some idiot who was underage, didn't have insurance, license or even a permit. The idiot had been driving with his stupid ass father before and thought he knew everything there was to know so when his dumbass parents went out of town for the weekend and LEFT THE KEYS to the brand new firebird they had bought off his uncle to give to him when he turned 16, OUT on the top of the fridge and then just went off and left him there with them.

Sorry but stupid people jsut annoy the hell out of me.

I've been driving 2 years now, somewhere around 150,000 miles. I consider myself a decent driver, and judging I was able to get out of a 12 car pileup *car ahead of me blew a tire, one hit him, guy to side swirved, I had to swirve or get hit from behind, car swirved to where I was going, had nowhere to go, slamed on breaks, then the one car moved just enough so I could slam on the gas, and get through with just an inch on each side or so, my girl freekin out the whole time, with the radio blaring, as 2 cars hit the guys I just went past, hitting where I was* I have right to say so. Had I not been driving so much for that length of time, getting advice and tips everywhere I could as well, I probally woulda died there. True, just driving dosent make you a good driver, but you cant be a good driver with -no- experience, and 3000 miles isnt squat, I do 100 miles each week for just work, my girl lives 100 miles away from me, when I go for a short cruse, I do 500 miles easy. Dont get cocky, youll die like that. And dont drive as you type on a keyboard which dosent work, its a bad idea, same with eating a taco as your shaving and changing a baby and drinking a big gulp all at the same time as you drive, thats bad too.
