I'm getting water entering my vehicle on the passenger side right around the plastic air bag logo up on the right. I don't think it's entering from a gap in the door because the seal looks good, so I'm wonering if it could be entering from the windshield??

anybody have any thoughts?

Check the vapor barrier between the door panel, and the door.

A really good way is to get a pressure washer and spray water onto the suspect spot. Not directly on it, stand away quite a bit, it is alot of pressure of course. I Found only one bad sealing of the Windshield to the Body frame on a S-Type Jaguar. The leak was coming from the middle, dripped through the overhead console assembly and then dripped between the plastic cover and a light cover and finally onto the J-Gate. That was fun.:grinno:

Does your car have a sunroof? If so it may be the drain from the sunroof it may have a hole in it,or maybe the seal has a small hole or slash in it.

there is a sunroof, but I can't see how #1 water would enter when the sunroof is closed, #2 how water would make it's way all the way over to the inner right side of the windshield

Use a power washer at every window seal, door seal etc. thats step #1.

I found the source of the leak, it's the sunroof drain, but here's my problem.
I did a little test, I poured some water out of a bottle into the sunroof drain on the right side, and observed the water run straight out of the inside of the car just under the glove compartment on the right wall. In addition to that the inside of the car by the right side of the windshield it get's wet right where it has the "HPS" emblem. So my problem is this, Where is the water actually leaking from? and how do I fix this? this can't just be a clog, cause the water started to leak under the right side of the glove cmpt immediately after pouring it into the sunroof drain. So that tells me there's no clog between the sunroof and that point. And the fact that it's also getting very wet inside to the top right of the windshield tells me that water is also leaking in that area as well. So is there some hose/tube that connects the drain to the path it should be taking? If so, could it have come off,???

Is your car a BMW? If the leak happens immediately it might be what you think, check this out. Realoem.com-its an online parts catalouge, its really useful.
