89 Legend Cylinders

Ok, so I replaced the thermostat on an 89 Legend and now it won't start. I have another problem though, one of the spark plugs won't come out and I think it's cross threaded. My father(it's his car) said something about that when he bought the car. Sadly, his maintenance schedule is such that in 1.5 years this is the first time he ever wanted the spark plugs changed.

My first question is what are the cylinder numbers in relation to the car. I'm thinking it's 1-3 closer to the firewall starting at the passenger side and 4-6 in the front starting on that same side. Can anyone confirm this? I'm pretty sure the wires are connected right but I need to make sure.

My last question is what is the best way to go about getting this spark plug out? I'm thinking the car will probably need a new head and timing belt. My dad just wants me to get it started so he can drive it to a shop though.

Have a nice day.:)
