This is an Extreme Tunerz EVO VIII. I want to make a replica of the Tokyo Drift EVO. I've extended the front end an made a APR widebodykit.

Here are the pics of the Tokyo Drift EVO:

This'll be way better than the models ERTL produce of same the car , the real car is an EVO 9 but ERTL's is an evo 7 based on the 2fast 2furious car.

IS it 1:18 or 1:24?? looks real cool!!

LooRIDER

Nice work, but most of the car was already done, so you didn't have to do too much. It;s a little too wide as for me but NICE job so far. Don't paint it yet, work with a little waterproof sandpaper too make it really smooth.

Thats it from me, Kepp working, and keep us updated.

CheerZ, Amnes.

I've got new pics. This time I have some pics of the rims. The rims are my IS200 rims from Jadatoys. I changed the wheels to 5 spokes instead of 5 double spokes and painted the center dark grey.

Rob 01

^^^^ I agree with the above , but you've still done a great job filling in the rims!

LooRIDER

I like the rims with the 5 double spokes too, but the real Evo has 5 spokes rims.

^^that's a good point. But you could take higher grit paper to finish the spokes off. Thay are a bit uneven ;).

The Evo is finished now. I've painted the striping by hand and made the custom decals with my PC.

What kind of paper did you use for those decals. I'd like to do some too bt all I have is sticker like paper - clear.

LooRIDER
09-05-2006, 03:20 PM
I used "SUPERCAL water slite decal system (clear)". This works perfect and easy.

I made the silver decals with an silver undercoat on the car.
