Peugeot 405 Stereo/Head Unit

Hello all,
This is my first post on this forum as I have just purchased an older 405 estate. My question is this : My car currently has the standard Peugeot head unit in it which is a basic radio/cassette and most of its functions are controlled by the little stick oin the steering column. I want to upgrade my stereo so I can play CD's but I dont want to lose the function of the audio control stick on the steering column. Can anyone please suggest either a compatible cd head unit that I can install or a way of having a cd head unit that I can still control from the remote stick on the steering column.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated please.

I can't help you with this question but maybe as time goes by one of the 405 owners that visits the forum will give you some advice.
BTW, let me know if you need the Radio wiring diagrams, I might be able to get them for you.
