Here's my 1st CP work.

overall i guess im happy with it, but could be better. the photo is bad though, its quite difficult for me to take a good one because with the flash it reflects too much, and without it comes like this ( blurry ) . In RL is sharper and the grass is darker. but anyway you get the idea.
I didnt even put it on my site yet because im trying to take a better pic.

Hope u like the drawing.

I love it! The guy and the bike looks awsome. The only thing I don't really like is the background, maybe add a little more time on it.
Keep it up.

Oh and what materials are you using?

i've been waiting for this one since you anounced to buy cp's. if you want a better photo, wait for a cloudy moment and go outside. as for the drawing, not bad for a 1st try but i'm sure you can do better. what's the size of this? how long did it take you to finish this? what did you end up using for the lettering?

its 65x55cm paper pretty big. Yeah i learned some stuff here ( what NOT to do next time ) .. so hopefully next one will be better. Its a very different medium to anything else ive tried. It took long, because i dont have too much time to draw, dont know.. about a month. Only the shapes/outlines with a normal pencil took me about 3 days ( but counting the actual drawing time i guess it was about 4 or 5 hours lol ). So its really impossible to say how long it took to do, no idea.

I didnt use anything for the lettering... its the white from the paper.

Bike and rider are awesome. Horizontal hatching on the grass makes it look bit strange.

awesome! :). I love everything about it. You got used to those colored pencils so fast it's not even funny. How are they working for you?

Very nice!

Some people have mentioned the background. The bike and rider look "real" the background doesn't. You might try a simple abstract background as to keep the focus on the rider/bike. Check "How to Draw Choppers Like a Pro" for simple background ideas and or take the time to make the background look more real.

Great job!

Did you mention what you used to render the bike and rider?
