Unknown connectors Dodge Neon

Hi
I just picked up a 1996 Dodge Neon (SOHC, A/T) no power options. It seems in the very center of the front (behind the bumper ) in front of the radiator at the bottom are two wiring connectors that look like they should plug into something. They aren't long enough to stretch to the bumper or frame, but there is a little platform that could possibly support something (nothing is there). Are these just for an option that it doesn't have? Or a sensor it needs? It seems to run, albeit it leaks like a sive.
THANKS!
Jamie

Probably the wiring for foglights. Even though the car may not have some with them, the wiring is still there. This isn't true for all neons, but the majority do have them. There should be a little clip that hold them on, so you could take the clip off and run them to where they would need to go.

so what all do you have to do to get foglights on a neon made without them?

so what all do you have to do to get foglights on a neon made without them? You need the fog lights and a factory fog/defrost switch with a pigtail of wiring harness on the fog plug.

Where are the wires that you hook the switch to?

FYI-the wiring hookup location is also convenient for underside LED's. Just in case anyone reading this thread ever thought of removing them just because they don't plan on having fog lights.
