Hello friends i need help, a few months back my expedition would not stay on
after posting a message thanks to your help i was able to get it to work
did replace a valve. Now check engine light is on the truck shakes badly
i did replece alternator and belt last month because it died on me now it stays on but is shakes bad, i also changed the alt. belt did it mi self? does it need to be set???? or adjust??? people tell me it may be spark plugs?? os a vaccum hoses how can i check....i did notice a sound like if air is coming out dont KNOW from where....please help.......thanksssssssssss :banghead: :banghead:

Check the vacuum hose on the right side of the engine from the PCV valve. These were notorious for leaking...unfotunately you can barely see the thing. Just reach back there with the engine running and when you reach the rubber elbow, feel around. The leak and shaking should stop when your finger finally finds the hole.

Check the engine light with a OBD II computer about $100 or take it to a local parts store and they will. Prob a coil is bad, if your a mechanic this is not so bad if not then it can cost lots of money to fix. Check the light and post what the code is. The parts stores like autozone or schucks they do it free of charge

It is prob a bad coil pack. These are common to go out. The OBD II will tell which one it is.
