HELP! Hazards not working

I have a 00 passat GLX and the hazards do not work. Turn signals work fine. After consulting the Haynes manual I thought that it must be a defective Hazard/Turn signal relay module. Well just replaced it with a new one and the same problem is laughing in my face. Can anyone shed some light on what might be the problem with the hazards. Oh by the way the lights flash when the remote locking is activated. :banghead:

Did you replace the hazard switch. THe switch is the actual relay for the turn signals and hazards

Well I finally found the problem. It was a loose connection on the fuse supplying the hazard lights. It took me three hours of searching but it is finally fixed. Thanks for the help.
