GTO vs. Ferrari 360

Hellz yeah, I went after the Itallian :grinyes:

I was on the highway this morning hauling ass to work when I see a light blue (nasty color) 360 moving in and out of lanes. I know he will spank my ass but eh, Ive seen them run 13.3 and figure I can atleast hag with it for a bit and I love to see them go.
I follow him off the highway into an exit I wassnt even supposed to get off on. I pull up behind him and see him peeking back at me through the rearview. When the light goes green he guns it and Im like "Oh yeah, lets doo this! LEEEERRROOYYYYYY JEEEENNKKIIIIINNNNSSSSSSS!"
He lept on me in 1st and second but all through 3rd he didnt gain an inch.
we got up to 130mph in a two lane public road. We get to a stop sign and we are side by side.
HE lowers the window and goes
"you modded?"
me: No man, I just wanted to see your baby go.
" Cool bro, Ive seen some of those cars smoke mine though"
Me: Yeah well not me bro, I just got it so Im still learning it.
"Ha, I know I just got this one too, hey one more? "
me: hells yeah!

He revs up and yells GO
I jump on him in first but by the time I shift to 2nd he pulls on me and ends up with his tail right next to my hood.
When we shift to 3rd he pulls another half car, I kept him there though. all the way into 4th and shut down at 135 or so.

cool as shit, I hung with him preaty good and for a new Ferrari to only pull a half car on me from 0-130+mph I gotta say I feel preaty ellevated. :grinyes:

i think the closest thing ive come to racing as an exotic was a rx-7. thing killed me badly. other than that, i havent raced shit....

For me it was a Z06.. for a real race, I messed with a Ferrari once but it wasn't much of a run. C5 Z06 for me.

First off, nice run, always fun to get to race exotics. I've only gotten two Ferrari owners to do anything more than toss a few revs up, the most of them just giving me a thumbs up and reving. Same with the Lambos I've seen around here.

Now, about this comment...the majority of the Ferraris and Lambos I've seen are Red or Black. However, I do see a number of them in ass ugly colors. What the hell is it with exotic car owners and those ass ugly colors.

I'm not gonna lie. As much as I loathe that green color that all the Lambos are popping up in...I would still take one if offered.

Yeah, I like all Japanese food. Tempura Udon, thats the way to go. I think I'm gonna get some of it for lunch tommorow. Of course, I can't really talk about food taste, I eat limes like most people eat apples and oranges.

*You had troubles braking 15's in the 1/4 with the GTO

*You hung with a Ferrari 360.

The three things I can come up with:

1. Everyone in Florida is about as good at driving a car as rice(er) is at modding a car to go fast.

2.Your a schizophrenic who has two personalities. The first one a natural born racer, the other, a 16 year old girl that doesnt know if "R" stands for the reverse gear or a race gear.

3. You simpily went SOL on a shitty track that wasnt well prepped.

Hehe, its cool blondie. I kick myself about the E.T.s everyday now.
It was just a bad day at the track, too many things went wrong that day.
As for the Ferrari, yeah I launched preaty nice the first time and the second well, not so nice but he let me get the jump cause he jelled "GO" and then waited for me to launch before he did.
I have been practicing though and I hope Im getting better, wont know for sure till I hit the track again in two weeks.

Best of luck too you. I'm just an ass. I've learned to except it.

Nice run Musashi...but I feel bad for the 360 owner.

He spent well over 100k for his car and he only managed 1/2 a length on a 14 second GTO.

Ferrari + Man = Cruise
