Got my new wheels & drooled 4 a while then decided i should put them on.

I took great care in putting them on after finishing the 3rd wheel i placed the last one next to my car & turned 2 grab my lug nuts & heard a crash....... i whipped around 2 c my wheel lying face down in the driveway... NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Now i have light scuff marks on all 6 spokes.....

It's only in the clear coat...... do u think that a shop could buff them out?

If not maybe i'll just buy a fifth rim and use this one as a spare tire.

Dude that sucks...... Ya my dad got a pair of audi rims all pitted out with road rash all over them.. One of his clients powercoats and paints. So he had his client refinish them there are absolutly no scratches or scuffs left (or at least visible) anymore and they look great. Might be cheap to by another rim and tire though....

thats terrible! you could probably get em painted though, take it to a place called miracle (its near your work) they probably could repaint em for you

By the way, did you put em on the car anyway? If so I will have to swing by the parking garage and check em out!

Don't feel too bad man... A couple years ago, I bought a set of Konig Tuners and curbed both passenger side rims really bad the SAME DAY!

You can definitely get them fixed and re-coated with clear coat. I need to get mine re-done except I’m not getting the clear coat put back on as it always seems to peel off and makes the wheels look patchy.

I keep forgetting that you guys never get to see many Skylines over there. They’re everywhere over here. Not so much the Series 2 R33s (like my one), but lots of R32s and Series 1 R33s.
