Pump prices creep closer to $3 a gallon

Even with the holiday weekend over, drivers continue to pay more at the pump. The average price of regular unleaded gasoline nationwide was $2.93 a gallon on Wednesday, up 4 cents from Friday, June 30, according to AAA, of Hawthorne, Fla.
