Hey I took out the covers that go around the vents on the dash..problem is i need to get the vents out also..i cant get them out..somebody please help.

okay well I don't think you can get the actual vent out without taking out the whole dash! when I did my interior I took out the whole dash (pain in the ass, but worth it) there are clips on the sides on the back side of the vents that need to be pushed in to slide the vent out! good luck!:D

I'm a bit confused by your question... Are you trying to seperate the louvers from the vent housings (the little slats of plastic that allow you to adjust the airflow direction)? If so, it's a pain in the ass. If you look, you can see some plastic clips on the vent housing that clip to the louver portion. There are some plastic welds that hold the clips on. What I did was take a dremel tool with a cutting disc and cut through the clips. When I was done painting the vent housings, I used epoxy to put them back together.

On the center vent, there's some sort of fuzzy padding on the bottom, it covers up several of the clips/plastic welds, so you gotta pull that off to get at them.
