Giallo Orion Murcielago
Cobra Colors

I'm happy to say that after doing a lot of benchwarming here I can finally post pictures of a finished model, my first completion in over three years.
Fujimi's Lamborghini Murcielago finished with my own Giallo Orion Pearl. I saw one of these zip by in traffic one bright, sunny day and the stunning color effect of its Giallo Orion tricoat finish was indescribable. With indoor or outdoor lighting it's impossible to capture the true look of the yellow & gold pearl effects of the paint, but you can kind of get the idea. I opened up the side air inlets, thinned the tail pipes a bit, and tweaked the suspension to get a lower ride height. The interior is basic black and the wheels were refinished with Alclad Polished Aluminum.
After laying off the bench for so long I surprised myself with some of the fundamental mistakes I blundered into with my rusty fingers while building this. While far from my best effort, I'm glad to have one done!

Leon,
I too have noticed the amount of mistakes I make after not building for a couple of years. Slowly, though, i'm regaining my skills. Great job on the Lambo ! I'll be ordering more paint soon :)

Talk about a grand entrance after 3 years. Stunning model here and a beautiful colour too. If there's a mistake somewhere here I wish I could build my models with mistakes like this. Great job.

Incredibly built after laying off for three years. Almost no mistakes. I hope you don't mind me saying. the right front wheel tread is facing the wrong direction. I hope you will continue to build more and post more of your works and do not lay off again.

That looks nice... It is such a shame we can't get this colours in the UK. Everyone that uses them ends up with such a nice model with a splendid colour...
This looks good for a "rusty" build..

You build models too!? Looks amazing! I love how the paint is shiny and reflective in direct light, but emits a nice glow in indirect light. Just amazing work. Keep it up!
