::1995 Blazer LT:: Purge Selonoid HELP!..

on the drivers side of the intake manifold there is the purge selonoid... i have my cel on and its giving me a rough idle i bought a new one but when i got under there i seen that there is another box right next to it and they are both missing a vaccume hose do they go together any pics of anything would help maybe this will take away my cel and the truck will be perfect again....

IM dropping it this weekend. 3inches in the front and 2 in the back... b4 i bought it someone tightened the torion bars and raised it and it drives like a boat. i do 90 quite often and its just not safe and every exit a take the wheels squeel like hell....

yes thats the purge valve which is closest to th front and the other is the purge diaphram.. the one hose goes straight between them but there is another vaccume peice on eac of them which is right next to the straight piece but on the diaphram it points downward... do they connect together too???

Hold on there, just because it is running rough doesn't mean it is the purge solenoid.

You have a CPI motor which means you should be checking the cpi and nut kit.

i just did my cpi and nut kit... i have a cel that says emission EVAP purge flow fault

Oh, ok. Sorry, just making sure.

I would unattach all the electrical connectors going to the purge valve which is on the drivers side of the upper plenum you removed.

Chances are the connection is just not tight enough or needs reseating.

no its missing a vaccume line but i cant find a picture close enough to the motor to see where it goes....

The purge solenoid is right there on the driver's side of the plenum.

There is a short line that goes between the two.

there is 2 vacuume lines that goto each of them i know bout the short line between the 2 thats there its the ones on the bottom that are the problem
