takes a while to start

my car turns over for a couple seconds sometimes before it starts up. why does it do this? i just had my 60k service done about a 1 1/2 months ago, and put in NGK IX iridium plugs. will new plug wires help? or should i save up and get a MSD ignition?

Starter may have some sort of corrossion on it or somthing.
