Thing above back glass

I posted a while ago about the trim piece above the back glass - the piece with the CHMSL in it. I said that it seemed improperly mounted and scraped the roof everytime you open the trunk. It also sat crooked when still. Anyway, I took it to the dealer and they ordered a new one under warranty. The other day, I was travelling down the highway and as soon as I hit 95mph, i heard a crack and saw that piece fly back in the rearview mirror. Right now, the back of the tb looks awful. I called the dealer and they said to go back and find it, as they need to return it to get the part covered under warranty. Huh? If it's broke, the warranty should fix it for free! Any one else had similar woes with the trim piece (or their stupid dealer)?

That blows man, sorry to hear it. I have heard of some people having nightmares with the CHMSL assembly doing just that, being crooked or coming off. Think its just luck of the draw.
