WIP: 1995 Silver Select

I've had this kit for QUITE some time. I've finally decided to get around to building it. So far I have gotten the cage from the firewall back put together. I need to clean up and fill the holes in the firewall, attach the front bars, and then its on to paint. This will be a quickie. No lines or anything. The only thing I might add to the body is the hinges for the hood supports. I have a question, could Clay or Dave, if they have not already, shed some light on moving the a-pillar bar to the body? I would like to push that out so it looks right. Also, this is a 1995 car, is there any changes that need to be made to the body to make it correct. I'd also like to pick up a set of PE grilles. This is more of a shelf build. Also, are there aftermarket decals still in production for this. Does anyone have some reference of this car?

That showcar in the middle picture is weird, it has a white Busch Pole contingency sticker and no orange headlight outlines.

James, thanks for the pictures. They are a great help. As the biggest focus of this build will be the body. I've gotten the driver bars added to the body and think I about have the rest of the cage worked out to it. This is going to be a pretty basic build, compared with the wrangler car I did.

A little work to show. The body is in paint, Its had a good 3 coats of Omni Urethane clear. The chassis got a bath in clear as well. The engine has gotten some color too. Magnesium on the block and aluminum on the heads valve cover and intake, thanks to model master metalizers.

I would think after the super detailed Wrangler, you would need a break from Nascar. Looking good, keep it up.

this will be limited detail....box stock actually. NASCAR used to be all I built. But when I found this forum, I built a lot of street cars.

i really like nascar cars and am looking forward to this one. the engine looks good, asd does the roll cage

sweet!! decals really bring it alive!!

not much to report here. Just some clear on top of the decals! not to mention the fact that sometimes I can't remember how to work my camera. sorry they are so dark.
