Well ladies, as of tonight, it looks like after nearly 6 years I will be single again. Alex was out for long time tonight at a friend's place, didn't call like he usually does. I had a feeling something was up I guess there were some things not talked about, pent up frustration and what not.....but Alex and I will remain friends. I probably won't be around for a bit as we will moving stuff out this weekend.

Well back to crying and wondering where I went wrong with myself.....

Sorry to hear that. That's a long relationship to suddenly be without. I know you can get through it, though, and find someone who's better for you. Best of luck.

Oh Kat... :( I am so sorry to hear that. :( But I know you are a VERY strong woman, and you will eventually find something that works for everyone involved. We're all here for you when you need us, so please don't hesitate to come and hide in our own little corner.

wow, that comes a a shock Im sure, I have never been in that long of a relationship, but the ones that have broken up are always a hard thing....good luck! keep your chin up! we love you!!!!:D

Thanks, everyone. Today's been a rough day. I've been keeping my office door closed so that no one will see me and ask questions. Everyone knows we have(had) been together so long and thought we were so perfect for each other. We thought we were perfect together too. But our lives are going in 2 separate directions right now...I know I got some of my own shit that I need to get taken care of. I really hope things work that we can be together again, but I guess only time will tell.

On the bright side, at least it's not ending in an ugly and bitter showdown like a lot of people go thru. We will still hang out with our crew and are still making plans for our annual Las Vegas trip. For the first few weeks we will probably back off just to give each other a mental rest.

wow Kat....hugely late response here sorry...But i just want to say how very sorry i am things didn't work out for you guys.

Allow yourself time to cry, watch teary movies, whatever you need to help you thru it, everyone needs a little time to feel a bit sorry for themselves....and most of all have a good cry on a close friends shoulder!! :)
