Hello all,
I have a problem with my power windows. When controling the windows (4 door car) the drivers front and rear windows work no problems at all. But the passengers side front and rear windows will not work from the drivers side switches or the switches on the front and rear passengers doors. I could use some help just dont understand how the drivers side works and not the passengers side? Any help would be very appericated! Justin

Although you have it listed in your profile, it would be helpful to post the year of your Regal plus mileage so people can weigh in to help you.

Common problems are the power window switches or the drive motor/regulator assembly. In your case I would take a closer look at the driver's side window switch being flaky. It may have bad contacts or wiring. I recall that the driver's side switch ties into the passenger door switches.
It is highly recommended to use a service manual with wiring diagrams to troubleshoot power window electrical problems and you will need the wiring color coding. You could remove a door panel at a passenger side door and then check to see if 12 volts at the respective switch is present. Good luck!

do you know of any way o simlpy jump power over to them so that i could just test and see if i can make the windows go up and down? Just to make sure the window motors work? Just so i would not have to take the passenger door panels off. Thanks!

The easiest way would be to find the wires at the output of the driver's switch going over to each passenger door switch. Otherwise there is no simple way because the wiring is a straight shot with no junction points between the switches on all doors. That way you would limit removal of door panels to just the driver's door. Again, you'll need wiring diagram info from either AllData or the GM service manual to be safe and sure.
