Performance upgrades, without voiding the warranty?

I really want to do a few minor performance upgrades to my 05 GTP, but I don't want to void the factory warranty. Is there ANYTHING I can do (besides the K&N air filter I installed in the horribly restrictive factory air box) to improve performance without affecting the warranty?
Has anyone had an experience with warranty problems after upgrades?

You are extremely limited in what you can do during the warranty period. Installing a cold air intake shouldn't void the warranty also try some Royal Purple oil. But other than that there really isn't much you can do.

I agree with Lynn. I did not modify any of my cars until the bumper to bumper warranty ran out.
However, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act covers whether a manufacturer can void your warranty for installing aftermarket parts. It puts the burden on the manufacturer to prove the aftermarket part caused a problem calling for voiding part of or all of the warranty. See link below:

BTW - Dealers will give you a hassle if they see an aftermarket part and they suspect it is the cause of you bringing it in for warranty work.
