Shaving door handles

I could not find a tutorial and the search turned up no how tos on this. I guess all it would require is some filing and sanding??? Any tips or tricks. I don't have putty but i got alot of filing tools. Thanks.

i usually use the normal cutter and extend the blade out a bit so that it could bend a bit to conform to the body, then slowly cut the handle off, then sand the rest down.

I just carve it off with a scalpell first, then block-sand it so it´s nice and smooth. This is all that´s necessary on older cars but most modern cars have cavitys that needs to be filled up and sanded smooth. It´s very easy to do and it will give ANY car a more sleek, custom look.
