I was out on the town with a friend of mine (did not have my car) when we saw a bunch of cavialiers parked together(he has a cavi) so we stopped and started talking to them. There was a dodge stealth TT parked with them so I started talking to the driver. The kid who owned it looked like he was about 13 years old oh and had one prosthetic leg btw. As soon as I started talking to him he imediatly started acting like a complete jerk. He was giving that ohh my car is too fast for you impression one me. His car was completely stock btw. I told him I own a gsx and he goes "Ohhh I could smoke that thing!" I kinda laugh and say uhhh it's not stock. So after letting him know that I'll be looking for him next weekend with my car... I asked him to pop the hood. So for some reason he decideds to start the car to pop the hood. Apparently his car auto locks when he starts his car because he started it, poped the hood, then shut the door. He starts freakin out because he just locked his keys in the car. I kinda laughed and figured heh karma. I talked to the other guys for awhile and left like 15 minutes later while the kid was trying to jam a screw driver in his door lock.

 I love it when people think they are all badass when they have a car like that. Most people around here that do that dont even have something to brag about, its like a fart cannon'd Civic with a body kit or a stock Mustang. I would like to serve a couple of them up, lets see if this new head will allow me to actually drive the car!
I've often thought of this... if the hood was open and he had a screw driver, couldnt he have just taken the UICP and choked the engine of air?

I hate people like that, theres this guy that goes to this car wash right across from my work. He has a Dodge Durango with Lambo Doors (which I dont know if all of them are this way but his didn't open far at all like I would never get into it), You would have to open up the back door just to get into the front seat. So I'm trying to talk to him like so did you do the work? He's like yeah all of it, I'm like cool (I give respect to people who do there own work). So I'm like even the Lambo doors? He's like no the body shop did that, so I'm like what did you do the body kit? He's like no the body shop did that and the paint job. So I'm like huh, what did you do (didn't really ask that, should have though he was being like really short and shit). I hate when people think there a bad ass cause they drive a care with huge ass chrome rims and a stereo, if you get all that shit done to it then you obviously like the looks that people give when you go by other wise why do all the lights and the bling blingin. I think if you want to do all that shit to the car then expect people to come up and talk and ask questions, don't be a dick about it.

Yeah, I told him take off his intake and just hold his hand over it. He just sorta ignored me and went about it with his screw driver... trying to find a magical hidden unlock button or something.

Lol yeah I noticed that too. Any idea on what they can actually put down stock?

I think stock they are rated around 300hp or 310. And IIRC thats on twin t25's. They are a good platform I'll say that much. They guy at lse has one that puts down 535awhp on 92oct pump gas

Damnnnn. I think it would be a good race though. Plus I doubt this kid can drive it too well ( you know the leg thing). He also mentioned he ran high 13s but, I could tell he probably has never raced at a track before.

The kid told me it is the exact same thing as a 3000gt. I am not familiar with those cars.

Awesome. Before my front mount and a few other things I kept right beside one of them too. Well, untill we got to about 130mph then I left him have his top end fun. He said he hit close to 160mph later that night.

Damn. Yeah, I dont think much about TT 300zx's, stealth's, and 3000gt's. 300 hp stock is cool, but the bastards weigh pretty close to to 4000 lbs. IIRC, they weigh in at 3800. Sure they have more power, but it doesnt do them much good if they have an extra 500lbs to lug around. Assuming 15% drivetrain loss and 3800 lbs, they have a power to weight ratio of .067. For a DSM to get the same power to weight ratio, they would only need like 215whp in a FWD and a little more in a AWD to account for the extra AWD drivetrain loss. Basically a 3" exhaust and boost set up a few lbs on a 1g will be able to stay with stock TT 300zx's, 3000gt's, or stealth's that costed easily 10x just to buy the car. I give them a bang-for-the-buck rating of "Shitty." Then again, nothing is as easy and cheap to mod as a 1g DSM.

I've always put Stealths, Avengers, and 3000 GTs in a similar category because of there looks not performance.

Once you start going really fast, power/weight isn't that important, power is. You need the power to overcome the wind resistance.
