We'll by the end of this week i am going to have my caprice up and running " hopfully " and in which i realized that i may want to put some type of an exhaust on it to give it alittle more power and better sound. I have been looking around and seen a few brands that i think may work for what im trying to achieve, but i wanted to know if anyone has any feedback on what they have done to there cars. Its no rush so really i am just looking for pros/cons on what people have done to there exhaust systems and possibly give me a idea to what i should go for.
My caprice has a 305 V8
So please if you have information that would b great.

Bang for the $$$ system would be to replace what you have with a 93 9C1 system from Walker. Manifolds to tip. The pipe sizes increased in 93, can't remember from what to 3" at the collector. Made a huge difference in my 89 9C1.

Thanks man, but where can i get that sytem from? And roughly how much do you think it would cost for me to get the entire system , otherwise do u know of any good alternatives that i could fallow to get a decent to good ammount of power of of this car? I mean i have read and heard people say how the 305 isn't the best engine for the power but i think differently and feel there has to be some way to get a decent ammount of power out of it.
Thanks for the help though appriciate it greatly

Marsal420 --- READ this thread through COMPLETELY. I've replied to you before with it, and the exh questions you have are answered within it:

As for exh options, Cecil's answer is the easiest mod for a 305 and probably the best bang for the buck. Duals would work better but they're (a) more work, (b) more $$, and (c) duals won't really be a performance upgrade on a near-stock engine.
Do an air cleaner mod first (easy, cheap, provides 5-8 fwhp) and then do the exhaust. Do these first. HTH.
