Perkasin

These are the best pain killers ever invented. I just had all of my wisdom teeth taken out this morning, got home, took a perkasin, slept, woke up, drank 2 cans of Ensure, took another perkasin, and now I feel like I could go somewhere if I wasn't all swollen up. I seriously feel fine. No pain whatsoever. But don't kids get high off these, or was that something else?

If it's a prescription painkiller, I'm sure someone get's high off 'em...
Having my wisdom teeth pulled was the best experience I've ever had at the dentists...
Maybe you should check out Mr. T's thread about toothaches...

Mine was the worst. :( I’m glad I’ll never have to go through it again.

Well, I 'borrowed' a couple of those instant ice packs from work. Then I took a baklava (spelling?) and made a thing to hold 2 icepacks on each side of my face so I can have the ice there, and play Counter-Strike at the same time.:D

Well, I considered going on a date with it and then I thought....
I'm not trying to impress anyone, and it works awesome, so why not? And if you don't like it, then you can go eat a banana.:D

Fuck getting my teeth out. I'm just going to let mine grow in and mess all of my other one's up.

Have fun dude...
Mine were all growing forwards (perpindicular to all my other teeth) and one of the wisdom teeth was actually cracking the tooth next to it into little bits. Every couple of weeks, I'd spit out a piece of tooth...
I waited 2 years to do it, cuz I hate the dentist. Used ALOT of Aleve to kill the pain. But when I actually went in, it was great. Hooked my goofy ass up to the NOS, stuck some general anaesthetic in my arm... next thing I remember was walking (er... stumbling) out of the building. They gave me good pain-killers, didn't even need to use half of what they gave me. Was easier than getting my tongue pierced.

My friend just had her wisdom teeth removed, and when I took her out that night (no, she had little pain and NO swelling) she was sooooooooooooo buzzed! :p She was on Predisone, Motrin, Penicilin, and remnants of the anasthetic... Lemme tell ya she was a BLAST to listen to! :lol2:
My wisdom teeth are quite happy in my mouth. :D

Well if painkillers are all you lot say they crack up to be, then I needn't fear having mine removed in a few months :D :D

Well, day 2. Haven't taken a pain killer for.... 8 hours I thin, and they're only supposed to be effective for 4 hours. And still no pain! I just hope that I'll be fine to go to work in 2 more days.

I am quite happy I dont have any wisdom teeth - no smart ass comments from the peanut gallery ;) They aren't there, so I dont have to worry about having to go through the procedure.

my wisdom teeth removal went without a hitch. i only missed 1 day of work (the procedure was the day after memorial day last year, i worked memorial day and used that procedure day as my "memorial day"). i only missed the following day (wed) to rest and returned to work on thursday.
i was ready & willing to get it done.. i had an impacted tooth and another almost there.
one of my wisdom teeth was growing UNDER the gumline at the back of my mouth. the pain from that was so intense i couldn't work. not only that, but 3 or even 4 doses of ibuprofen ever 4 hours wasnt even TOUCHING the pain. the pain stretched from my ear down my neck to my collar bone.

When I had my wisdom teeth removed... I had to have 4 done at once by an oral surgeon while they were still forming (I'd just had 3 years of orthodontic treatment).
The surgeon used an intravenous of valium during the procedure which meant I was conscious throughout the procedure but definitely in la-la land. Don't remember much for the next day or so either as I was high as a kite.
The best painkillers I can buy over the counter are Ibuprofen + Codedine... However, the script painkillers are stronger and I get the cost back on my medical plan...
