OK, so I'm trying to replace my mom's brake light bulb (the one that is in the chassis; not on the trunk).
I can't get the damn bulb out! (The actual bulb.) On the grey housing thing that holds the bulb, there are two copper-colored prongs on either side of the bulb. I've tried pushing them in at the same time, pushing them out at the same time, and no luck! I don't want to break the darn bulb.
Sh!t, this should be the easiest thing in the world! Someone please let me know what I'm doing wrong/what I have to do!

My bulbs just pull straight out of the sockets. Pull hard maybe? But my car is a 2000 model, so they might have changed the bulb hardware for the later models (there's a different taillight design for `99 and `00 models).

Ahhhhhhhh yes....I had to yank it out. I was afraid it was going to break, but it didn't. Shows what I know.
Thanks a lot. :)
