Where's the Valet Switch?

I just bought a new remote online for my 1997 Accord EX (4Cyl). I can't seem to find the Valet switch. Is there some "standard" place that the installers put it? And would it be a button or toggle switch?:banghead:

In my aftermarket alarm they taped a push button switch to the wiring harness inside the driver side fuse panel. On my son's Accord there is toggle switch at the bottom of the driver side kick panel.
It will not help you to find it right away I think. But just will give you some ideas where to look.

Thanks for the advice semyonlibman. I crawled underneath the dash this week and found some modules for the alarm and the wiring, but couldn't trace it to any switches. I checked by the fuse panel on the driver's side but didn't see anything. Makes me wonder if I'm missing the forest for the trees. Also, to AccordCodger, I bought the alarm with the car from the dealer back in '96, unless they install all alarms the same way since then, I don't think they could help me, but I'll give them a call anyways.Thanks guys...
