drice cycle

i live in tennessee and all vehicles have to be emissions inspected....pain in the butt. but i tried to get mine done saturday and they told me they couldnt test it because the computer wasn't ready. that was because i had the battery off the day before. they said they would be able to test again once the computer completed a drive cycle and was ready. does anybody know what the drive cycle for a 1996 2 door 4wd tracker is?
