I am working on my parents' 1994 cherokee country,it sat for approximately 6 mos. When I tried to start it no go. I can jump the selenoid and it will start,or if I touch my test light to post #85on the relay it will crank and start with the key.Does any one out there have experience with this?qI replaced the relay, but no luck, maybe ignition switch?Thanx for your consideration.

Could be the switch. Is it an auto or manual? The auto has a Neutral Safety Switch that prevents cranking in gear. Try shifting to neutral and then try starting. If still no good, wiggle the shifter around.
If manual, there's a switch on the clutch pedal serves a similar purpose. You can only crank when the clutch is depressed.
