ac problems in 95 aurora

95 aurora has cold air blowing on passenger side but warmer air comes from vents on driver side.i have removed the entire dash to get to the airbox with the actuators and could'nt find a way into the box.all the doors and actuators seem to be moving as they should so what could be the problem.need help thanks

You are low of freon. Add 6 oz and I bet your driver side air gets a lot colder. Go slow since these systems are sensetive. Be sure to add 2oz of oil if you haven't in the past.

i have a1999 aurora and would like to know how to remove a air compressor from the car to install a new compressor. do you take it out from under the car or do you have to remove the raditor

i added freon and it did not solve the problem, im at 42 psi of a/c system pressure and its still giving me the same problem, please advise.....

on a 90degree day you should be seeing 40psi on the low side and somewhere between 200 and 250 psi on the high side at 1000 rpm. The driverside vent should blow 58 degree air and the passenger side will blow 50 degree air. This is just ball park since it is impossible to charge a 134 system using gages. The Pros do it by weight. If you added 6 oz of 134a you should have seen the driver side vent get colder. What temps are you reading at 1000 rpm at drivers side and passenger side vents. Since 134a is tricky you might add more and see if the driver side begins to get colder, Maintain 1000 Rpm as much as possible, if a 12 oz add doesn't begin to make driverside colder and the low side psi has increased above 45 then you may be overcharged. slowly release small amounts of 134a while ac is running and see if it begins to respond. Two thermometers helps since you don't have to keep switching between driverside and passengerside vents. When you get it close you will have a 6 to 10 degree difference between the vents with the driverside being warmer. If you didn't add PAG oil the first time better add 2oz now.
