1994 Mercury Capri Top Latch

The driver side top latch broke on my 94 capri softtop. I've gotten a replacement from the internet. The problem is I can't get it off. I've removed the two bottom mounting screws and it still won't come off. Obviously there is still something holding it. Where is it and how do I get it off? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
