Drove it in the morning ran fine, that afternoon leaving work - no start. Thought maybe it was Ignition trouble - changed all igniton parts (except plugs and wires) only to find out its a fuel prob. The pump was replaced last fall. The pump does run for the 2 second priming however zero fuel at the relief valve. Removed the fuel filter and checked for the 2 second priming, pump ran for the 2 seconds however no fuel at the open line where the filter goes.
:crying: My question is this - can the pump run for the 2 secs and not pump fuel?
:uhoh: Do I have to replace another pump?
This forum is great - it has helped me in my replacing the pump last fall and a few other problems. I hate to get rid of this truck as it is paid for, runs good (when running of course) :banghead: , looks great and its LOADED...!!!
Any Help is appreciated....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jimmy's EAT pumps...I'm on my fourth in 6 years ('95 4.3L Vortec). Do yourself a favor - buy an OEM pump - aftermarket types just don't seem to last very long. The last one I had go out (about 2 mo ago) was an aftermarket type & lasted lss than a year. PITA to replace, but gotta get 'er done.
Good luck....
Good luck....
