You're referring to Micromesh polishing cloths, right?

Firstly, are you looking for them to polish with, if that's the case, they're not necessary. Get yourself some 3M Rubbing Compound in the fine cut solution and use that as an alternative. It's available from most auto parts stores.

well..i asked earlier about my 320 grit sandpaper. apparently its too rough for what were doing. Is micromesh only for polishing. what about sanding prior to polishing.

The most commonly used high grit (400-2000) wet-dry sandpaper is Tamiya's.
Micromesh also has the same grits but goes way finer. I've never used Micromesh before so all I can tell you is what I have read or heard. Tamiya's 2000 is somewhere near Micromesh's 3000. Micromesh also makes 150-12000grit sandpapers. So in reply to batman3390 you could go all the way using Micromesh but its harder and more expensive to get than Tamiya's.

So, what I would do is: use Tamiya's up till 2000 then switch to Micromesh's.
One note: grits 150-600 will do quite a bit of damage to your model. These grits are mainly used for cleaning up sprue joints, mold lines and scratch building.

Steve
