'the OG's always come back' :evillol:
What's up everyone? Been a while... but you know me... I'm always coming & going. Honestly, I've been hanging out at d-series, but mostly because I can't get to AF from work :crying:
Anyway, for those of you that remember me, and don't already know... I finally got the hell out of North Dakota & am stationed in Oklahoma now. So I can work on the car year round :grinyes:
Speaking of the car; it's changed a bit. Right now, it sits on jackstands in the garage. Minus the motor, everything else under the hood, the suspension, steering rack, body kit, half of the interior, and the front fenders...
The WW kit, rims (both sets), headlights, and cf hood have all been sold.
I finally get to do all the things I wasn't able to do when the car was a daily driver. So she's pretty much torn apart. I'll fill you all in about my plans/projects as time goes on (but I finally got my Z6 & CRX dash out of storage in TX, w00t!!).
This is how she looked before getting torn apart....
http://premium1.uploadit.org/YTIKTME//DSC01682.JPG
http://premium1.uploadit.org/YTIKTME//DSC01681.JPG
I've got nothing but time these days, so when I'm not working on the car, I'll try to hang out here a bit more!

 Nah...I just suck at keeping up!
Damn Bret, I'm sorry about the Taco. Hopefully you didn't get hurt (too bad?) in the accident. Looks like that thing was smashed up pretty bad... The Acura looks nice though! I don't know how you get rides, hook them up & then sell them. I hated selling my 'Zu...but it was for the greater good of the Civic :D
And Greg, you know I'm always changing things up! Ok... Six + years with the WW kit & 17's... It was time for a change.
I'll be going down to 16's, but I'm undecided (like usual) right now about either the Spun mesh's (color matched w/ polished lip), or the Rota J-Mag's. If I'm not mistaken, the J-Mag's only come in 15's...so I'm sure I'll change my mind another 25 times before I actually get around to buying rims...
The color will remain Laguna gold, and I'm in the process of piecing together the JDM front end conversion (as well as rear bumper, side moldings, etc...).
I'll be keeping/building the Z6 & eventually adding a JRSC.
Right now I'm more focused on finishing the suspension & brakes (Skunk2 full coilovers on each corner, FastBrakes 11" front brake upgrade & refurbishing the '93 'teg rear disc's).
It's a little time consuming because I'm stripping the trailing arms down to bare metal, recoating them, replacing the wheel bearings, rotors, calipers, brake lines & bushings...
In the midst of all that (ie. something to do while waiting for parts to arrive) I've been shaving/tucking the engine bay. That's kept me busier than anything these days!

Yea, I was up there for a couple years, then came back down here to try and get some more money saved up.
I'm stuck in a shop all day for 9 hrs, which feels better than outside, but still hot. I came home yesterday and pulled the motor out of the hatch. Not even 5 minutes into it and I was already dripping with sweat and I wasn't working that hard.
