College Room-mate timeline

I just realised, that it being August in the US that a lot of members will be returning to *scary music* college that means *scary music* finding college room-mates......So heres a sequence of events that will unfold after you first meet your "room-mate"

Day 1- Arrive at dorm. Meet room-mate, who has already moved in and claimed all shelf space and both closets

Day 2- Eat meals together because you haven't bothered to meet anyone with whom you have something remotley in common

Day 6- Curteously wait an extra hour for room-mate to come back for dinner, only to learn that he's met someone with whom he does have something remotley in common, and has been at the dining hall, eating

Day 20- Begin to realise that room-mate never intends to pick up teh cereal and milk he spilt on the floor on Day 7

Day 25- Clean up cereal mess because you can't stand to look at it any longer. Quietly seethe

Day 38- First mid-term. Room-mate plays computer games non-stop as you attempt to study

Day 41- While re-heating Super-Caf-Triple-Mocha Latte in forbidden hot pot, room-mate blows fuse to room just before you save your term-paper on your hard-drive

Day 55- Bring date back to room; hint strongly at desire for privacy, only to be ignored

Day 62 Room-mate brings date back to room. You stay, just for spite....and wish you hadn't

Day 66-Realise room-mate has been using your computer when you discover that your hard-drive now contains 10 gigabytes of hard-core pornography and a crippling computer virus

Day 67- Catch room-mate wearing your clothes and demand that he return them immediatley. He gives them back a week later, without washing them

Day 76- Room-mate insists on leaving the window open all night, causing you to get ill before mid-terms

Day 77- Retaliate at room-mate for open window incedent by spitting germ-infested saliva on his toothbrsh, only to be foiled because he never uses it

Day 81- Devise a scedule that minimalizes time spent in room, when room-mate is there

Day 82- Find out room-mate has been hiding his stash on your side of the room, when campus security bursts in and writes you up

Day 90- Return to room after renting video, only to find that room-mate has lent-out your TV

Day 91- Learn that by "lent," room-mate actually meant "pawned"

Day 99- During Litrature Final, have series of uncontrollable fantasies in which you poison room-mate with MSG from Maggi 2-minute noodle noodle packet. Fail exam

Day 101- Move out and impetuously sign apartment lease. Later, when you dot eh math, you realize that you can't afford the place without a room-mate to share the rent, move back to day 1.

I even told you on AIM last Friday, that I was gonig to dig into some of my old jokes pile and start a good few threads :finger: :finger: :finger:

My roomie is one of my oldest friends. Old as in I've known her for AGES... not as in old-geezer. She and I aren't too close, but I think that will help. I'm actually thinking that things will go by fairly well. Not to mention that she's engaged and spends most of her time with her fiancee. :D
