don't you hate it when someone calls your car ugly?

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr well you know how S14's aren't that photo genic? well this girl i was talkin was curious to see how my car looked sooo i sent her my pic of my baby, and she said it was ugly!!! and thought the skyline was a prelude!!! whats is this world coming too!!??? i want beer to wash down my sarrows of this sad world. but theres no more beer in the house!! help me!~!!!

I, personally, don't give a flying fuck what other people think about my car(s).

OTOH, it may be because no one thinks much of my car(s)... :rolleyes:

I don’t know if it would be able to beat a turbo Eclipse. It was a 2L with the NA MIVEC engine, but it did manage to beat quite a few turbo’d cars (which used to annoy them greatly! :D ). It was also a pretty light car, I’m not sure what the eclipses weigh and what sort of HP they have standard. They also have AWD whereas the FTO was a FWD. I really wanted to turbo the FTO, but it was going to cost too much so I decided to go for a car with a turbo already fitted. :D

But yes, some people thought it was ugly. I must say it did take me a while to get used to the rear end. It kind of grew on me after a while and then I thought it looked awesome.

Your Skyline looks superb anyway......can't imagine anyone saying anything bad about that.:) :)

wait you said cars ... i take it as a compliment when they say my car is ugly, i dont know why... maybe its because i drive something totally different from everybody else?



if they call it ugly, i just ask that they take a ride and make their decision afterwards... unfortunately they usually still call my dirty primered car ugly.... but with respect! :hehehe:

I used to feel bad my car was ugly (or so called)

but I beat a 96 mustang gt and a turbo'd prelude tonight (must have had a blowoff valve, or maby those 16.5 sec cars just really arnt that fast even with a turbo) :bandit:

The mustang gave me a thumbs up, the ricers girl hid her face, so needless to say, i'm happy with my "ugly" boat :D

No one has ever called my car ugly. Except for my x-girlfriend, but when i told her i was going to sell it and buy an rx-7 she started to like it for some reason!

Yeah i felt bad when a girl called my car "CUTE".

But then she asked what engine it had and I told her 3liter V6. She then says that is what I got (she has a V6 mustang). That is when I realized that most girls don't know anything about cars and you shouldn't listen to them. Comparing my car to a V6 mustang .... Yeah

They know that you should take off the parking brake before trying to drive. That cars go vroom vroom. And that high speeds are "scary". Thats about all I've found out that "most" women know. :bandit:

You know I dont like the looks of Skylines. They are borderline ugly to me, but I would never tell someone their car is Ugly. I just say "I dont like it" I figure cars are like children for most people. You wouldn't tell a mother or father that their baby is ugly.

Yeah, a lot of people have given me shit about how my car looks, but I have had just as many if not more people tell me it looks great. It doesn't bother me when people call it ugly but I would like to know why they think it is ugly.

if i wanted a car for looks i would probly get a 300zx n/a.
but im getting a car for speed, and im gonna work on its looks myself, there not the best looking cars but when im done with the mods chicks will cream!! :p


as for the fto, yea there nice cars, my friend brought one last week, it smoked my friends lude.
2litre v6, auto,tiptronic, when i was in the back my head kept bumping on the back window.
it handled mad, it felt like a good ride too, very smooth compared to the 4s, and a nice interior.

if i wanted a car for looks i would probly get a 300zx n/a.

Some idiot called my friends widebody Supra a RX-7. And even after looking under the hood, he was saying what a great engine that rotary is.

But I still luv my GTO! There's quite a few different models of the FTO. There's the GS with a 1.8L 4 cylinder engine, the GR has a 2L non-mivec V6 and the GPX and GP Version R have the 2L Mivec engine. :)

I happen to really like the looks of the 240sx. However, it looks much better in person than photos, I think.

As for calling someone's baby ugly, whoops, I kinda did that...the first day my new boss was working, I got to work and he had put a pic of his newborn baby as my desktop. Now, babies are kinda cute, but newborns? Not so much, they're kind of scary looking. And NO baby looks cute with its head blown up to 21". That's just damn scary. So I kinda freaked out and after a few months he forgave me. (His baby is 15 months now and just adorable.)

I think my S14 is ugly. At least the front is, and the 15 in alloys too. When I graduate from college, Im definitely gonna get a whole S15 front clip conversion.

well thats csuae you got the base model with no front lip and with like you said 15's. if you get a SE or a LE that would be a different story.

wow, people must be dumb to get shit mixed up with RX-7's. A Porsche 944 and RX-7 i can see, but a supra?

The only difference between the SE and base model fascias is an inch wide strip of black plastic running along the bottom of the lip spoiler. Its gonna take more than that to make my car look agressive.
