We'll my mom just had her gas tank and the "flotter" is what they called it replaced and we'll her fuel still doesn't register correctly. They told me that it was the computer that was behind the instrument panel and that it would need to b replaced. We'll i was just going to come on here befor i tear her dash apart to figure out what is going on with it. So if anyone knows anyting please let me know .

I don't know, but I can't imagine the comuter being the problem. Sounds like bad data in somehow. Maybe a bad ground or faulty sending unit or bad repair job. Is it the same problem as before she took it in?

Thats what she got ! THe sending unit, and that has a "FLOTTER" attached to it and yes it's the same thing. My grandfather told me to try shacking the car aittle bit mayb the flotter isn't positened correctly and nothing so i dont know what else it could b other then the computer may need to b reprogrammed or sumthing?

And, yes it's the same problem as befor she had the repairs done
