There's a place in Northland (about 3 hours drive from Auckland) called "Kingfish Lodge" and it's so awesome. You can only get to it by boat. We went there for our honeymoon and it was amazing. Total peace and relaxation. You have to call them when you're about 10 minutes out of Kaeo and they come and pick you up by boat and take you to the resort! :cool:

now that island kicks ass...you could do whatever the hell you wanted to...if u wanted to run around naked you could! if you wanted to throw keggers, you could! if you wanted to have wild orgies you could! but only on the weekends...need money for all of that food:p

there is a place up in new york state called the thousand islands where people have houses on private islands. it is pretty nuts. a friend of mine owns a house up there, too bad it is a 7 hour drive

Well, duh. Isn't bigger always better? But I would be perfectly happy with it. It has fields, and a cliff to go climbing on, all it needs is a forest.
