Hi, I have 1991 LeBaron convertable 3.0, I have put about 100 miles on it in the last four years, seems everytime I got to use it something else electrical does'nt work. started with back windows, conv. top, heater blower, should say all it does now is start and headlights work. I have replaced all the fuses, didn't help. My son had a simular problem with a different vehicle type, a guy fixed for 100 bucks, we noticed a new hotwire run to the battery, not sure what he did, new hotwire to fuse block? can't find the guy anymore. I have pretty good mechanical abilities, electrical not a strongpoint, but can follow a wiring schematic. any help is appreciated.

Well, the back windows and the convertible top are more than likely not an electrical problem. The back windows are very well known for ceasing their functioning pretty early on. The motor is just dead...happens to us all. Same thing with the convertible top...it's probably just the hydraulic pump that's shot. My suggestion is to just remove the hydraulics system and put the top up/down manually as it is costly to replace the hydraulic pump.
As far as the blower motor is concerned tho...I have no clue.

I've got a 92 convert. Recently the electrical went crazy. Wipers wouldn't work, interior lights wouldn't work etc. We disconnected the battery for 10 minutes. This reset the body control module in the car. Every thing works correctly again. All of the interior electrical functions go through the body control module. If you have to replace the module it is behind the kick panel on the passenger side. Good luck.
