Hey click on this link http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=502706
it will list every site that has Grand Am performance parts, As far as 4 cylinders i have a 2.4L as well , first figure out what you want to do to your car as far as the amount of money you want to put into it and what you expect and want as far as performance goes. There are lots of mods you can bolt on to your car for quick boosts of HP, as far as removing the limiter why do you want to remove it it is not going to boost the HP in your car you could end up doing more damage to it.

Well on the freeway i like to see what my cars do< i have a Grand Prix and a eclipse also 2002 and 2003/ And the Grand am is really my mothers and the Eclipse is my girlfriend/ the the Grand Prix is mines and i had the speed limiter removed and it gave it HP also < it said 10-15> it makes it shift faster and i can press a button (Performance Shift) i will make it shift a little into the redline make and make it shift hard/ Only if you press the button SO it will give you a little HP. And what good is gettin performance parts if you car is only going to shut off at high speeds anyway< When you get performance parts it just going to make you shut off quicker

I see your point, if you remove the rev limiter if you know how to control your car youll be ok but if not youll end up causing dammge same with the speed limiter, my car is basically stock right now, 2.4L 2001, im waiting for my jet chip and throttle body spacer and thats it till i have the money for my turbo, but my car will be around 180-190 horse after i put the chip and spacer in, i have a aftermarket exhaust, and CAI, so its esitmated HP but it is pretty close my friend has a 2003 GAGT 3.4L and i can take him off the line and down the street, i dont know how that is possible, he slams on his gas and thats it, i know where my car shifts and lift off the gas and hit it again so my car shifts quicker, but anyways search around i found the chip once thought about buying it but i dont want to remove the limiter because there are other people that drive my car and i dont need them to F*** my car up...

Well on my other car the rev limiter wasnt removed it was just raised, the Trans Pressure rasied so it will shift quicker, speed limiter removed and shift points raised from 5800 to 6000 RPM (Only when performance shift is activated) So Basically i just press a buttom and i get all those features. but when the buttom is off< it just a stock grand prix> The only reason these car are limited is b/cuz (safety- Tires are not rated for those high speeds)http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/7316/file1mx.th.png (http://img20.imageshack.us/my.php?image=file1mx.png) My engine light is on B/cuz i have No CAT Converter. Just staright Pipe to Flowmasters mufflers/ Just like CAT-BACK. well i have a O2 simulator now so it not on now

DHP PCM and thier power tuner should work for raising the Bar :) try PFYC (http://www.pfyc.com/store/merchant.mv?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=PFYC&Category_Code=GA)
