For N/A Owners

How fast have you personally gone in a non-turbo? I don't want any internet specs, but I want data from stock N/a RX-7s. The reason for this, is because I was able to hit 200 km/hr in 4th gear, but thats seems a bit... odd. If it helps any, my car is a 1990 Canadian model. I dunno if they were made any differently compared to the US specs. Maybe loger gears? Higher revs? Apparently, turbo models hit top speed at about 223km/hr or some jazz like that. I'm just really confused about the subject, and a friend of mine says that's quite unbelievable. Any input?

1987 RX-7 NA 5 speed. Canadian model

Fastest ive been able to go is 190 KM/H. Thats bone stock.

200? in 4th? thats .... unlikley without work.

4th gear at 7000 is about 150 in mine

Possablilty of your gauge being off?

wow wtf, i hit 138 mph in my 87.

I've hit 180 in 4th in my roommates....
and I know that the speedo is working properly.... cause we got stock tires on the beast :D

about 130 mph in 4th...... was taking a while to get going any faster and the rear end started to feel a little light. I dont see many n/a's going much faster than 135-140 mph honestly. At least not without a hill and a good tail wind.
