89 ac

I have an 89 with a 3.0L and a 5speed, a little while ago my foot slipped off of the clutch and stalled the van and suddenly the air conditioner compresser won't even engage. I have looked through my Haynes book and I can't find any fuses or relays that could be popped. So I am hoping that someone else here knows what else I can look for, on most of my other cars I have been able to find things in the engine compartment, but this one is getting me quite frustrated.
