Well.. I was just sitting in my driveway with the Intrigue idling and I noticed my gas gauge fluctuating a quarter tank without the car even moving.. What do you think about that.. Kinda Intrigued!!

Mine started doing the same thing a few months ago. Just started all of a sudden. You could switch gears in mine and it would react to that. Have no idea why that was. Then, a few days later, its was back to normal. Then just the other day, its started again. I have seen multiple posts on here about the sending unit and what not. Sounded like a lot of trouble to replace. Its easier to just reset my trip mileage when I fill up and know that I can go about 350-375 on a tank before I fill up. I can live without a gas gauge for now. If you do fix it, let us know what you did, if you did it yourself and the cost to fix.

I've had problems withthe fuel guage ever since 65k miles (bought used at 61k; private owner). I use the trip odometer like atoyota. I have 119k on the vehicle. Since 95% of my driving is highway, i usually fill up at 400-425 miles. Typically it needs 15-17 gallons. No danger of running out of gas.
If you do have it fixed, please post.

Well, If your driveway is on an incline then I would assume the gas is shifting. I have noticed something like this and when I get out of the road it straitens out to its original reading. Maybe there is a bigger problem than I can see but I think your problem is the same as mine.
