Yo I heard G4 TV will be broadcasting live from E3 this year where they will show a world first exclusive clip of Dreamwork's upcomming movie Transformers.

I dont know about the rest of you but I think its cool thier making a live action transformers. So far all I know is that goofball kid from Even Steevens plays Sparkplug.....the little human sidekick kid!
yeah I know sounds childish since he couldnt play a serious role if you killed his mother. oh welll.

So far I havent heard jack about the movie, no spcript, no plot, no voicetallents, nada.

Dreamworks is gonna be making it?? I don't know if that's good or bad. Their movies are good but aren't they mostly like (P)G films, don't know if that will work with Transformers.

I thought Beast Wars was cool just for the CGI. I had the toys too hehe... which were pretty damn sweet. It was just before they started doing stupid shit with toys making them dumber and dumber.

Anybody remember when G.I.Joe's were three inches tall? Man, those were the shit... when they made them a foot tall and all big and stupid looking like barbie dolls... it was like wtf? The small, poseable G.I.Joe's were the shit man... I can't remember how many I had... lots. I used to take nails and yam them into their fists and my G.I.Joe's would the have 'swords'. :lol: awesome.

Don't even get me started on GI Joes... I had the freaking Cobra base that was like a 4ft dome with a rocket launcher in teh middle...and like every freaking GI Joe and Cobra figure imaginable. They used to fight for control over my Tonka Trucks!...and world domination, of course.

I didnt play with my toys that i remember. Well i played with my hotwheels, and i had a few transformer hand-me-downs from my brother. I mostly climbed trees and went swimming and played basket ball on my little mini hoop and wresled and played street hockey...i do remember playing army men with our little one chanel walkie talkies.:icon16:

Hellz yeah, I love Macross plus! got the 4 volume complete series too. if you get a chance check out Macross Zero, it takes place a year before the original Robotech series...like a plrelude of sorts...its amazing!

My favorite toy was Exo Squad, Anyone remember that?

I played with those toys everyday relligeaously.....right up till I was 17! :uhoh:

Exo Squad was the shit... I think they need to bring that series out on DVD.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I think there should be a lot of older cartoons that guys like us grew up watching that need to be released on DVD much like the Robotech series. Good stuff... Hell, I'm 23 I'll proudly sit down and watch a cartoon from when I was a kid. Not a hard choice for me to make.:D

Holy cow! Transformers are freaking awesome! I always played with Legos and erector sets as a kid though. We had some G.I. Joes...till my brother buried them in the backyard.

Some of the first transforming robots, with Daimos being the first I've heard of that transforms into one vehicle. They both predate the Transformers.

He's so freakin' huge (over 2 feet tall), that you had to use his head, who turns into Cerebros, to play against other Transformers toys. Even Cerebros' head turns into Spike.

Yeah i saw the Voltus 5 movie which is really a three episode mini-series of their origin. Voltus was cool but freaking Mazinger was the chit!
I remember later on in the series Mazinger Z's friends built two more mechas, a junk-bot and a girl mecha piloted by the daugther of the defense force's chief. The girl mecha gets upgraded later on where they install two huge freaking missiles on her chest so the tip of the missiles look like giant boobs on the robot! :grinno:

If you watch The Island DVD with Michael Bay’s commentary he says that Scarlett Johansson wanted to do the love scene topless but he insisted that she had to wear a bra so the movie could get PG-13 rating and of course she did even know she knew it would look stupid for her character wait so long to do it and then be wearing a bra when she did.

I forgot about that! Believe it or not, I had that toy too. I was a spoiled kid. As a matter of fact, that was the only Voltron I knew of for a while. I lived in the Phillipines at the time, and all my toys were Japanese-made, but bought in Hong-Kong, where my mom would take me shopping sometimes.

Oh, and they were actually 15 vehicles.
