swap out 22re

i have a 90 pcup with a 22re. my question is does a v6 from another 89-94 fit with any problems such as tranny alianment, engine mounts...etc. i've been pulling a 12' trailer and the 4 banger just doesn't have the power for western pa hills. it's a extended cab 5 speed 4x4.

I don't think that's a very easy swap. I have rebuilt my 22re and put a couple of performance parts on it including a header and balanced fuel injectors. It now runs great, and although it's no big block but it has a lot more power than it did before. I think the biggest difference was made with the header, so you might try that before you attempt a swap.
