I had to push start my car to get it home today...the engine would'nt turn over..I would turn the key and nothing would happen. I just went out side a few mins ago and tried to start it for the hell of it and WTF!?!?! The MF started without any probs. Anyone know what this could be?

Have you checked the battery connections to make sure they are tight and not covered in shit ?
You might want to check the wiring down to you starter motor to see if it's tight and everythink is on at the motor

I admit I checked rapidly this afternoon...I'm gonna put her up in the air tomorrow and see whats goin on. I'll let you all know. I was hoping someone else had been through this before though.
I think its my makeshift neutral switch personally. When I converted the car I had to create a neutral switch so the car would start again.

My G did that to me a few times. I got all pissed off and kicked the hell out of it. But I made sure not to dent it. ;]
It's only done it I think three times, other than that I've never had a starting problem.. my dad was a mechanic for 6 years.. he told me that in all likelyhood I have a problem with my starters cylinoid. Not sure exactly what the problem is.. but he said its probably $120 to get it fixed, and thats including labor.

sounds like your starter...also if you just hear a clicking noise then it should just be the starter. you might want to check the voltage on the battery to see if the battery is the prob, but from what you are describing, i beleive that the starter is whats wrong, peace
