does anyone know what engine comes stock on a 2000 gsr? is it a VTEC?

yeah, the 2000 gsr has a dohc b18c1 vtec engine. i believe it makes 170hp @ 8200 rpm.

2000 GS-R has B18C1 (VTEC)...
170hp at 7600 rpm
redline at 8200 rpm
128lb-ft torque at 6200rpm
VTEC engagement: 4400rpm
short-throw intake engagement: 5600rpm
My 2000 GS-R came with way-retarded timing (14deg), so if you've got one, check the timing to make sure you're not getting jipped out of a little bit more juice :)
