Instrument light not working

Hi all,

Please help me.. All of a sudden when i got into my car tonight, my instrument back-light as well as A/C panel backlight are out (backlight would not light up when i turn on the headlight). The defroster & cruise back lights are working when headlight is on.

The car functions normal, all the warning lights (door, brake, check engine lights) are working fine; aftermarket radio light, dorm light, ashtray lights are working fine.. The taillights & license plate lights fine.

I checked the fuses, they are seems normal to me.. My car is 92 SI with 115k miles

Please help me, i dont know what else to do.. Thanks in advance.. !

Hit the left part of the dash from underneath. Right under the light intensity controll, and wiggle the wires in there. It is a pretty common problem.

ya, mine does that every once and a while... just play with dimmer switch and it should work.
