Know why I don't drive an LS1 anymore? Cause the LS1 didn't deem me worthy to drive it, so it kept finding things to break and cost me money. I said that I'd sell it to somebody who was worthy, and it promised not to kill my family.

They put it on Corvette's as well... only way they can get around the gas guzzler tax with the manual.

The automatics get hit with a $1700 tax for being inefficient.

I think Pontiac should of stolen the new 6 speed automatic from the Corvette (Since they already stole the LS2) and slapped it into the GTO. That'd make it the perfect car for all around driving in heavy city traffic and everywhere else. Of course, Pontiac aka GM doesn't have the foresight for that sorta stuff.:rolleyes:

There is, its just like some sorta plug in thing.

Yeah, it plugs into the wire where it hooks up to the transmission, it's just a circuit that disables the tranny linkage. In my LS1 it would still show the "Skip Shift" indication on the instrament panel if I was being gentle on the car.

Last few weeks I had it, I wasn't very gentle with it.

If I had an LS1, I don't think I would be gentle on it period...after I got a 12 bolt rear, of course.

I don't much care for srt-4's but they can be very fast cars on a strait line if you know what your doing. He's probably some kid whos dad is like "here is 10 grand for your 20 grand car son, maybe you can make it really fast now" and the son is like "NO NO NO I want more more more!!" and the dad was like "Now soooon, how about 15 grand.." Anyways, that video is dumb, and so is the race.
